This plan shows the commitment of VINCI Airports to offering safer infrastructures and quality of service to enhance the passenger experience in its airports.
The investment portfolio includes a new cargo terminal, a new commercial building for services and offices; the remodeling and redistribution of the parking lot and the central atrium, the leveling of the runway safety strip, among others.
The works include the renovation of the central atrium of the passenger terminal, which will have an area of 2,595 square meters with a wide view of the airport runway, in which the security and migration services will be relocated and modernized.
This renewed area will allow the passenger to visually anticipate and enjoy after the security check of a recreational space that includes duty free shops, restaurants and bars. Additionally, a new flight information system with high technology screens will be installed, providing a high comfort waiting area with new resources such as «last minute shops» and «call to gate» in accordance with current international standards.
The cargo area of the airport will be transformed into a «Cargo City» with an independent entrance and parking, commercial building and new administrative offices.
