Estadística de pasajeros de cruceros en España. Año 2017

Los pasajeros de cruceros en España a lo largo del año 2017 aumentaron +6,68% hasta la cifra de 9.274.209.

Los puertos importantes siguen siendo los tradicionales aunque el de Barcelona no crece lo esperado (+1,27%) aunque se mantiene en primer lugar seguido de los de Baleares (+8,56%).

Los «puertos de invierno», es decir, los de Gran Canaria y Tenerife presentan cifras de crecimiento positivas de +11,65% y 9,97%, respectivamente. Toda la información en la siguiente tabla:

Aeropuerto de Murcia (AIRM): 9 licitaciones para tiendas, restauración y servicios

El Consejo de Administración de Aena Sociedad Concesionaria del AIRM ha acordado el inicio de licitaciones de 9 expedientes de contratos comerciales. Estos contratos contemplan 1 local destinado a moda, complementos, zapatería y bisutería; 1 local destinado a la actividad de regalos; 1 local para hamburguesería; 4 locales para restauración y 18 máquinas expendedoras de alimentos y bebidas; 1 local destinado a venta de gafas de sol; 1 local de delicatesen; 1 local destinado a moda, complementos, zapatería y bisutería; 2 locales destinados a multitienda y 2 superficies para la ubicación de 2 cajeros automáticos.

Nepal: development of 3 new airports

Keeping in view the ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020’ campaign, the Government of Nepal is planning a wide range of tourism promotion and related developmental activities across the country.

Besides, the government is also looking at ways to expedite the reconstruction of quake-hit heritage sites, promotion of religious sites and home stays, among others.

With regard to improving air connectivity for tourists, the government is looking forward for the development of new airports across the country with at least one major airport in each province.

Some of the new airports include: Pokhara regional & international airport with in duration of three years, Nijgadh international airport in Bara and Gautam Buddha Airport in a year, among others.

Besides, the government is keen on enhancement of the existing airports.

To ease the traffic at the Tribhuvan International Airport, the government has already increased the airport’s operational time to 21 hours in a day from May 21, 2018.

The new  Pokhara airport It is likely to be completed by July 2021.

The airport will have separate international and domestic terminals, four boarding rooms and other modern facilities. It can handle medium size jet flights such as Boeing 757 and Airbus 320 on its runway, which would be 2,500 meters long and 45 meters wide.

Seoul affirms no change in Gimhae Airport expansion plan

The South Korean government will expand the Gimhae International Airport in the southern port city of Busan as planned and will not consider a new option, including building a new airport in nearby Gadeok Island, officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport said.

Under the plan, a 3,200-kilometer runway and a passenger terminal will be added on a 290-square-kilometer land next to Gimhae Airport to meet capacity of 38 million users. Construction estimated at $5.4 billion will be completed by 2026.
